RE: [Tavern Roleplay] The Arcanist's Mill
[A hooded figure moved quickly by the trees as the wind blew carelessly in the leaves following its directions. The quick steps started to slow down as their breathing became heavier, their breath becoming visible in the contrast of heat between their own heat and the cold air surrounding them. As the hood fell down their shoulders it revealed a young woman with dark locks of hair, tied up in a ponytail. ]
Her sharp green eyes watched as a tavern nearby was lighting up, shining like a star in the midnight sky from the bright light coming from the warm inside. Chise could feel how her hands started to shiver as she made her way closer towards the tavern. The idea of alcoholic beverage wasn’t that bad either as the young woman had been on the move for a few days, alcohol had been a distant thought.
When Chise entered the building it was clear as day that majority, if not all the people visiting the tavern this night was long gone from the sober world. Standing by the entrance she let her eyes scope out the area to see what she had to work with. To her surprise there was quite a mixed group of people not far from here that seemed to have spent at least a few hours in the tavern.
While keeping a eye on the party that was peaking her interest, Chise went up to the bartender and smiled.
“Surprise me. “ she said. Her voice being smooth like butter and that could easily bring people's attention away from her words and instead focus on the sound of her voice.
Despite being on a traveling foot quite often, this was the first time Chise had met any other race than her own. Humans was nothing compared to the demons that reached her eyes.

RE: [Tavern Roleplay] The Arcanist's Mill
As Chise received her dark beer from the bartender, a lot seemed to have happened around her in that short moment of time. The tavern that had previously been filled with a lot more souls suddenly felt empty. However it was nothing that the young woman truly cared about as she closed her eyes and listened to the conversation nearby.
After a short moment she picked up the conversation topic which peeked her interest and a smirk spread on her pink tinted lips.
"Mages huh" she thought quietly to herself as she turned towards them and held her glass in the air with a big smile."I'll join you lads if you don't mind getting your ass kicked by a woman" Chise said with a big grin on her face as her green eyes looked at the two men before her. Her dark locks of hair was resting against her tinted pink cheeks that had appeared from the cold outside.

RE: [Tavern Roleplay] The Arcanist's Mill
Chise hesitated before she spoke to Azhidal, his question digging into her mind as honesty had always been a very familiar trait for the woman. After a few seconds of thoughts, she cleared her throat and looked at the man.
"Always on a moving foot but to put a simple answer to such a question. No, I do not come from this town or any nearby." worried that she might have said too much, Chise turned to the second man and watched his movements as the card spread out smoothly. She stood up and stretched before fishing out a coin out of her leather purse that was dangling on her belt, close to her sword. Chise put the coin down on the dark table that had many marks from previous games, the wood was getting old from all the battle over money or alcohol it had to endure.
Watching quietly as the men showed off their skills in magic, Chise unbuckled her belt and threw her sword sheath on the table as the hilt of the sword was showing. It was a simple handle with silver decorations and a red ruby at the end of the hilt, making it obvious that no such weapon would come cheap. "A sword is all you need in this world" she sad as she slowly pulled her sword out of its sheath, revealing the burning blade.
"Enchantments has always been a hobby of mine." she said with a smirk as she in a smooth movement push the sword back into its sheath. As quickly as it had gone on the table, the sword was now resting against her chair as her green eyes looked at the demon that had approached them. Curious over this race she had never interacted with, Chise leaned towards him and stared, knowing very well that she had already intruded into the demons personal space.
"Tell me, What is a demon?" -
RE: [Tavern Roleplay] The Arcanist's Mill
After hearing what the demon before her eyes, Chise took a step back and looked him up and down before speaking yet again. " But you don't attack humans, right?" While her question might have been absurd after what she got told. Chise didn't find the idea of getting her blood sucked out of her body as a very charming idea. But to avoid a more grim idea of what a demon was, she simply nodded when he asked if her question was answered.
Her attention quickly got turned to Azhidal that complimented her enchantment. When asked what type of magical training she attended. Chise stopped in her track and rubbed her forehead. It was simple yet the explanation might confuse some people, she still decided to give it a try as another man joined the table complicating her blade which put a smile on her face.
"My father taught me the enchantments I know, They are not the best but the few I know do the job very well if I say so myself." The smile was still on her lips as she held her head high, taking pride in her work as the men went back to focus on the game before them. However it didnt take long for Chise to get lost in thought and disconnected to the group as she leaned her warm cheek against her palm as she looked into the fireplace. The wood broke down to the heat as the fire spread, cracking sounds filling the room as they soon became the few guests left in the tavern.
However her peace didn't last long as a huge crash dragged her back to reality and dark clouds quickly turn into crows as Malyvern had pulled a card. Chise swore like a sailor as she pulled her short sword and held it close, ready to swipe down any crow that came to pick her eyes out.
"I am very sure that we know that now, Malyvern" she said with a bitter tone. Chise wasn't one for surprises. Especially not in a world where the wrong surprise could kill you.Crows being the worst?! she thought and sighed. Chise didn't believe that for a second as she leaned forward to pick up a card, but another man was quicker than herself and had already picked up a card from the table. For the few seconds that remained quiet, the false hope of nothing happening was quite the relief until those hopes got crushed as a swarm on bats flocked around the guests of the tavern.
"Do it always have to be flying creatures?!" a great annoyance growing in her voice, Chise held her head low as she swiped her short sword in the air, on the first glance it might have seemed that she missed the bats above the men but shortly thereafter they fell to the floor one by one. Her short sword was yet another enchanted weapon, however fire was not the element for this one.
Lightning had been the element to strike down the bats, paralyzing them for the time being while still leaving the creatures alive. In one smooth motion, Chise attached her short sword at her belt yet again and leaned back in her chair as she in one big swoop drank the rest of her dark beer.
"I'm going to need a lot of drinks if there's anymore of those flying bastards" she muttered as she glared at Malyvern, irritated that he missed the most important part of information.
