Naja Logain was ich meinte ist, dass ein Spiel nicht unbedingt ein Gildensystem braucht, damit Gilden darin aktiv werden können. Es ist natürlich zu bevorzugen, aber ne Freundesliste kann ich mir eben auch selbst zusammenbasteln

@Aries : Ye but I don't think the focus for the first few months or even years will be a fully established guild system. There are so many systems that are way more important. Let's see how the development rolls, when we reach the point of Alpha/Beta testing

Interesting read for sure. One question regarding the eclipse:

Is it planned to have full eclipses with total darkness, so only demons can see like normal and humans have to use torches (or something similar) to see far enough?

Also für mich wärs einfach wieder mal echt wichtig, dass bei einem Spiel der Weg das Ziel ist... das Erleben, das ständige Drumherum und kein wirklicher "EndGame-Content" außer dem, den sich die Spieler schlussendlich (mitunter jeder für sich) aufbauen.

Vermisse das inzwischen schon am meisten in der MMO Welt. Würde ich jetzt zum Beispiel FFXIV anfangen, müsste ich wieder so schnell wie möglich hochleveln, damit ich mit den bereits bestehenden Endgame-Leuten was unternehmen kann. Dabei hat mir damals der Weg dahin mehr Spaß bereitet als das Endgame selbst.

Und das ist eigentlich auch der Grund warum ich kaum noch MMOs angreife... einfach weil diese Barriere da ist. Mal ne Woche weg? Pech. Deine bisherige Spielgruppe ist schon 5 Dungeons und 10 Level weiter. Dann beginnt das tolle "Ziehen durch den Dungeon", das mich mehr langweilt als alles andere.

Von daher... ich hoffe jetzt einfach mal das Beste

Keine Sorge Logain, die Titel die du mir wohl empfehlen würdest, hätte ich sicher schon probiert oder in Erwägung gezogen und fallen gelassen.

Nehmen wir zum Beispiel EVE her... natürlich hat das auch unterschiedliche 'Gewichtsklassen' was Schiffe, Waffen etc angeht... jedoch ist der Weg dahin deutlich ereignisreicher, als zum Beispiel ein klassisches Themepark-MMO. Das meinte ich schlichtweg damit. Denn ich will das Spiel von Beginn an erleben können und nicht mit dem Erleben erst nach ner Woche oder 2 Wochen Spielzeit anfangen können, nur damit ich was "sinnvolles" mit den Freunden machen kann.

Would love to see some official lore additions from player experiences at a later time. Like places you'll get to travel to or quests in memory of certain players (and/or battles for example).

Assuming a beastman behave similar to a human in case of appearance I'm sure beastmen would indeed ride/use beasts ("lesser" animals) big or small. I agree it would be not a practical thing for all kinds of situations, maybe sometimes just to show you are stronger than others by taming a big wild beast. The survival aspects are a nice touch too if considered this way.

Don't know what I think of mounting DURING combat. Maybe too much bug potential (like getting stuck in the animation, being invincible, etc). But we'll see
