@therippyone yeah, but the schools should have some passives too, specially the phys ones, but weapon and armor bonuses.

I know this is going to be something added much later in the game, but considering i have already discussed Fishing and the Lich Transformation, I figured, "Why not talk about the Character Creation?"
This Topic is to share some of my own ideas while also having a discussion in the comments about what the forum community and others may like to see in the future of Fractured.
My thoughts on what should be added:
- Event/Holiday Clothing/Skins. This is kind of a no-brainer but in my opinion it adds a lot to the feel of a game when it has holiday themed clothing/skins.
well, new year should be the fracture day, as example, then a day for each god. maybe a day for each race and other special per plane, like a hunt day for beast, or a work day in human
- Limited Time Clothing/Skins. Although this is kind of already in the game. I think this is a cool way to show that you were in-game during a special event or you completed something that is no longer available.
I think they should try the warframe route, and not make then completely lost if you didn't get, but give you other try at least in the next year

maybe if the schools have passives too, and if the physical schools have more habilites or at least enough to be close to the number of magics, it would help.
but they need to avert the linear warrior quadratic mages trope

I think that they should looks at D&D for casting.
First, split spell in divine and arcane(or other name), after all, we have a lot of divine intervention from what they said.
Second, perception should be the base of it. -

@demilich from what could be gathered , Int will determine learning in some way( not know tha amount), and over and 9 of the so far 14 schools are int based( then 5 char, 3 per, 3 dex, 2 stg and one cons) so yeah, int is overloaded.
so, first all schools should be 2 stats being the more used, at minimum.

something like :
Abju: int and cons
trans: int, char and per
conj : so far ok
divi: char and per
enchan: this should be based on the item, but char, per, int and dex should be the pool
illu: ok so far
inv: int and or perc or cons
necro : ok
rest: perc but primary should be based on the font (char for divine, int if not)
MA: Dex, str and con
warf: looks ok
assa: ok
mark: ok
musi: couldn't really think of a secondary :x -

Suggestion: Secondary Learning stat
I could be wrong/ haven't found another info, but so far it looks that int will be a high required stat because of the learning and knowledge system, but what if we had 2 stats for it. Int and one for us chose based on what kind of character we want. Ofc, this would make more sense because of physical and non-int related magic, but with so far the stats will go, using only one of 6 stats is almost a waste :X
