Can't "bump" to pick up all wood pieces

Last alpha we could "bump into" wood pieces that were leaning on the stump or in such a way that you couldn't pick them up, and then you could pick them all up. The interactive "bump" with the pieces is no longer working so a lot of wood is going to waste. I just cut a large tree and could only get 6 of 10 pieces. Not only annoying, but such a waste of resources and my time. Thanks!
