Storage vaults / warehouse idea for a town

It would be a great idea to build a storage vaults to store stone and wood and any other materials which is needed for crafting for the town. When you start a town project, other members would just keep farming wood and stone or any other resources and store them there for other citizens to use. Possibly when citizens access that warehouse they could get the material for cheap or even free depending on the town tax (if this is such a thing) non citizens could also buy from this warehouse for full price (price again set by the governor)
