My hopes are high, but my expectations are low.

Well, I'm new here. I signed up earlier this month, excited by the prospect of this game. I really hope this game will turn out as awesome as they are making it sound. I have hope in this MMO. However, I'm hesitant to on putting my expectations up there with my hope. Riders of Icarus was a game that sounded so, so awesome. The gameplay, everything, was looking pretty good (in the trailers). But then, it released... I even bought a dev pack to support their idea, only to find it be a huge waste, sadly. I don't think these guys will be anything like the devs for ROI, but I'm not gonna be naïve like I was then. When they release the pre-alpha, hopefully it'll be a good representation of what the game will become, and maybe it'll exceed my hope for this game.

I know how you feel. Tons of games have let me down in the past. I have a good feeling about this one though. Something new.

I think you're in a good place. It would be perhaps, beneficially, to say your hopes are high but you have no expectations. Not to say you are expecting nothing. But instead to say, you are willing to go in with an open mindset and see what this new world is all about. Here's hoping they don't over-promise for the sake of hype.

I'd like to welcome you here and its nice to see someone with high hopes for the game mine are high but they have lowed after i discovered that exploited is here but I'm sure the game will be amazing none the less
