I moved the weapon directly from my character screen to a large wooden box. My character still shows as holding my staff.

RE: Tree's are now Un-breakable?
I noticed there are some random resource spots like trees and rocks that are not usable. I don't know if anyone else has posted the coordinates to each resource node that's broken but I'd say put up a screenshot, or type in the coordinates you are at when you stand by the tree to this post so they can make the changes in game.

Talent Tree bug or by design?
Testing out some talent tree combos, noticed this.
Chose both the archer "30% to pierce" and the mage "spell attacks get 1 bouce"
I believe both are active, hard to get a screenshot but I believe I have it captured below. 1 bouce + pierce. As you can see there are 3 distinct damage numbers on 3 wolves below. I'm still testing myself but I have seen so far where it will bounce to a second target and then the projectile will keep going after bounce. -
RE: [FRAC-2061] Incorrect removal of tier 1 talents
This is interesting. Just tried it myself and the results are below.
Basically, before you can remove all the other talents, you have to add points to one of the shorter between branches like adept mage or the like. Only then can you start removing all the main branch talents. I couldn't remove any talents from meditative or fortunate because the in between tree of captain or adept shaman is not implemented so I can't add points to those trees.I guess we'd have to get a call from Prometheus if this is a feature or a bug technically.
I decided to take this to it's logical result, +2 in all attributes. Not a bad option I'd say and still give you points to spec in your focus...

Character weapon visual bug when switching weapon
When using a cart and hitting tab through different weapon choices. tabbing to a "null" weapon choice shows the previous weapon selected.
Hitting Q to get off the cart then shows the character with the proper null weapon choice. -

Thanks, this answers things. I was a bit worried they were going to push a lot of new things in to beta without trying them. Ambitious yes but I had a feeling it might come back to bite them unless there was some prior player usage to work out some kinks.

Question on the scope of Alpha 2 Test 3
I know the focus was on player driven towns in this test. I personally enjoy where the towns are at on this test but personally, between building a house and helping build town structures, and character creation testing, and creature/item/exploration I will be mostly complete with what I believe is the bulk of the content in this test over the weekend.
Considering this test is going on for a month, are there plans to introduce additional town related content? I.E. NPCs, more buildings etc? Even if items like resources aren't available, testing that we can interact with NPCs and other tables/buildings?Just looking to see if there is any specific path you might be able to share with us in this test phase because as I understand it, Beta 1 is the next time the general user base will be given a chance to explore more of the Fractured build.

I've gained about 90% of the total KP out there and about 90% of the spells and abilities.
I've built my house in a town, helped build other's houses and items.
Enchanted my stuff as much as I'd like.
Built a good mage characterThe only things I have left really are making more armor (tanning and leather making are difficult atm) and making bows and testing some archer items
Then the only thing left as I can see is PVP...
am I missing anything?

RE: Tanning Tubs Are a Disaster
From a community perspective I completely agree that tanning tubs should be public only. It helps coalesce the players around group membership and ownership. The current situation is unfortunate but I have a feeling this was by design to see what mechanics the Devs would want to add to the mix at this stage. I would suspect that NPCs would be helping manage this in the future as part of the town?

check that your house is completely finished, door and everything, otherwise I think it won't let you build inside.

Is more content going to be added during the next couple weeks regarding cities? Not that I'm complaining too much as I know this is just testing the basics of city building out and the like, but increasing the amount of things we can do in a city would help this phase of the testing if the goal in test 3 is to in effect try out the city system...

RE: Easy to trick caster enemies // totem seems indestructible
I also noticed that you can inadvertently click on your own totem and shoot magic missiles at it which tends to weaken it. Once that happens the enemy seems to be able to attack it and finish it off.

Attacking NPC, not hitting target with totem or regular attacks
Attacks appear to be going to a different location than the target appears to be. I can still highlight it like it's present and it showed a partial health bar when I first came to it.

When using shadow walk, when attacking direwolf, creature did not respond
I attacked with a dagger but no response. killed it without it reacting.

But my stamina keeps rising like I'm not being hit.

Logging out and logging back in fixed issue.

Had 2000 mana in mana bar however after attaching Treant mana in bar went down to 1800. Character screen shows 2000 still.

Floating log
Log was walked over by me and it went into the air. It did not come down. Image shows me underneath it and unable to interact with it.
