Shields and Hammers are also missing, you can level them but do not see the progression anywhere.
I would also like a list of the hot spots with name, it make it easier to see you have missed some that are hidden under legend/summoning icons, and also let you see there are more hot spots on planets / continent not visited.

RE: Limited uses for recipes
Here is my thoughts, remove the recipes as drops and behind a KP wall, in order to learn lets say Ranger Armor you need to have at least mastery 2/4 (or 3/4) for the tier 1 leather armor and then spend 5000 KP to unlock the recipe for that armor.
This allow you to know which creatures you need to kill to get the resources need to craft the item, and the ability to craft the gear you want without having to wait for a random drop of a specific recipe. It is also a KP sink so you have to decide if unlocking the recipe for a tier 2/3 item is worth it to slow down your other progression.
I would also increase the ingredient cost to craft the item at a higher mastery level, probably not for the primary ingredient like crystallized magic, but cloth & primordial dust could increase by 1 or 2 for each mastery level.
You would still get master of all crafts eventually, but not until characters have levelled more and visited several planets to gain enough KP to spend them on armor and weapons they do not plan to use.

I have several suggestions:

Give the smelters and tanning tubs storage like the woodcutting station, it do not need to as big, but should hold a wagon at least. Then you can start smelting after adding fuel if you have at least 5 ore in the storage. Restrict storage to one type of ore or add a select ore feature before smelting.

Allow unloading an entire wagon into storage, both the storage suggested above and the woodcutting station, let it take some time, either a progress bar like for multiple craftings, or let us see the character empty the wagon/cart one item at a time, just without having to click over and over.

Allow us to start the Advanced smelters with only one chamber filled (5 ores), there is Silver/Tin nodes, Copper/Gold nodes, etc, so when mining tin you may get some silver too, it would be nice to be able to melt them when you have 5 and not have to wait until you have 10
