RE: Finland and his "3"guild of 100 people combined
Don't stress guys
Specter already confirmed in discord that they are aware of Finland's alt accounts and even other peoples alt accounts in general.
They wont get foundations points for them if what Specter said is correct.@Vicious you sir, are shit stirrer extraordinaire.
@Finland and you ol' chap need to stop reacting like this to people - you realise it's exactly what they want right?

RE: [Tavern Roleplay] The Arcanist's Mill
Suffering from a sour belly, Mimi groans and burrows her long nose into her arms which are crossed on the table, I am never drinking this thing called "cider" again. One of her legs slips out from under her and her hoof makes a clank as it hits the stone floor.
Peering at the room bleary eyed Mimi is astounded to see an Erwydra sitting in one of the far tables, reading and smoking like she belonged there. I wish I felt so at home, she thought to herself and nestled back into her arms, dreaming of green places and tall trees.

RE: [Closed Roleplay] Caravan to Avermore
Mimi startled as she felt someone touch her arm
"Need anything for the road?" asked a middling merchant woman, gesturing to her wagon loaded up with food, wine, and all manner of items, "You're doing us a favor helping with the escort so I'll give you a good price."
Mimi shook her head, "I think I'll be ok." then remembered how cold it had been the previous night "Actually if you have a warm coat I'd be happy to trade, nothing too fancy. Maybe you've something with a little wear on it?"
"Nonsense" scoffed the merchant eyeing Mimi critically before pulling out a thick woolen long coat in a striking shade of green, "This would suit nicely." and after a pause, "You don't look like you've been far from home long. I don't suppose you brought anything with you? Supplies from Arboreus are expensive to ship."
Mimi checked the pouch at her waist and pulled out a few bulbs she had collected and had been intending to plant, "These are from the Sun Lilly plant that grows around my home, the bulb can be crushed and used to craft healthful tonics, or you can plant it and wait for the flowers which are used in a sweet liquor."
The merchant gave Mimi a smile and handed her the cloak, taking the bulbs in her other hand. "Thank you little one. My name's Pharla. Call out if you or your party need anything else." and with a cheerful wave she moved onto the next wagon.
Mimi ran her fingers over her new cloak feeling the dense woolen layers and smiled, a much nicer coat than I should have been able to trade for.
"Have you brought much else from home Telwath? When were you there last?" Mimi asked, turning to her new friend.

RE: [Closed Roleplay] Caravan to Avermore
I don't like this place, Mimi thinks to herself it may be abandoned but there has been a lot of death here. Looking around the clearing she decides to get a closer look at some of the off statues.
"These were humans!" she gasps to Telwath who had followed her over, "They look as though they died terrified and in pain." Mimi reached out to touch the stone cheek of a young girl no older than she was, it felt cold and soulless. "What is this place?"
Despite the cheery music and the smell of dinner cooking on the fire Mimi is restless and fidgety. Seeing Ixuo felt the same she walked over to him noting the fine fur on his forearms was standing on end. "You feel it too?" she asked him, and Ixuo nodded stiffly in response, a worried look in his eyes as he tended the fire.

RE: [Closed Roleplay] Caravan to Avermore
Deciding that her hunger was a more urgent need than the discomfort from the statues, Mimi sits down next to Glim, accepting a bowl of stew from the caravans cook, Phroud. It is filled with chunks of a native root vegetable and the broth is warm and salty, "Thank you." she said to the cook, "It smells delicious."
Phroud smiled and gave her a wink before continuing with his stew pot to the rest of the group.
The cheery noises of a large group of people settling in for the night took over most of the ominous sounds in the nearby forest. Howling wind and the snapping of branches was replaced with the homey sound of familiar bickering and an enthusiastic lute player, taking requests for songs from a few rowdy young men already deep in their ale cups.
Looking around at the Rhila Trading Company, Mimi smiled a small smile reminded a little of home. This is really just one big family. They don't look it during day but I can see it now.

RE: eXploited (#1 demon guild )
Can confirm from experience these guys in Albion were not to be fucked with. They were everywhere, all the time with zero moral compass.
Would caution making any kind of alliance or trade deal though they're really only looking out for number one and if they can have the cake and eat it too, they will.

RE: Suggestion; Sellsword/Hiring Board System
I doubt they would have an actual physical in-game bounty board - but there are these forums, and discord servers and who knows what else where people can offer groups in game currency/items to kill other players
Whether it's in game or out of game - it will happen

RE: [Tavern Roleplay] The Singing Grotto Inn
Mimi scratches her antlers anxiously as she opens the heavy door of the Inn. Leaving Arboreus was a difficult decision and it has left her feeling withdrawn and out of place, so far from the reassuring scent of home.
Tame places such as these have their benefits I suppose, she muses as the warmth of the dying fire draws her inside.
TAP TAP TAP Mimi stops suddenly, looking down, Stone everywhere, what a bother.
Looking up to see who has noticed her rattled entry, she relaxes as everyone seems to have retired for the night. The lingering, familiar musky smell of a Nheedra reassures her further, surely this must be a good place to stay for the night.
Throwing a few coins behind the bar she pours herself a drink, awkwardly adjusts her hood and makes her way toward a comfortable looking chair near the fire tap tap tap.
Careful to pull her hood over her antlers Mimi curls up, nursing the tankard gently and drifts off to sleep, her pale brown fur warmed from the heat of the coals.

Extension of: Alpha 1 Please Line Up!
There's going to be a heap of us jumping in for Alpha 1, and I know @Greenfire is busy compiling a list.
What is everyone going to focus on in their Alpha journey? Is there something you're going to pursue or try to discover? Are you going to spend your time PvPing as much as possible or maybe exploring the different planets?
I'll be on Arboreus... gathering and crafting and building and praying to be left alone
So if you need resources from Arboreus, I'm hoping to have a lot spare to trade -
RE: [Tavern Roleplay] The Singing Grotto Inn
What is that smell? Bleary eyed, Mimi fumbles with her cloak which has fallen over her face during the night. How many Nheedra are in this place? The thick musk of Bear-kin was all she could smell.
Finally free of her cloak which had been caught on her left antler, Mimi is able to see that the inn is starting to get busy, serving food and warm drink to its customers, But not a Nheedra in sight?
A kind looking young human woman walks over with a jug of something warm and some food, offering Mimi a smile, "Now here's a one as is far from home, have something to eat, lass."
Smiling in return, Mimi accepts the food and notices there is a cloak on her lap This isn't mine, then makes a satisfied wuff of understanding. A kindly gesture to be sure, despite the smell.
Having sat herself down, the human seems intent on starting up a conversation.
"What brings you out this way, eh?"
Humans are always so nosey, "I'm a healer." She replies shortly through a mouthful of food.
"Och, a healer! You'll find plenty of work in these parts I'm sure. I can see you're hungry lass, I'll leave you to your breakfast." Smiling, she walks away.Plenty of work as a healer? What has been happening here?

RE: Haven't pledged? Want to upgrade, but not sure yet? Tell us why!
I've pledged EB Knight tier since it was the cheapest Alpha 1 access.
I do believe that a lot of people lack patience and after looking through all of the news highlights, expect to be able to access the game fairly quickly.
At the same time I don't think the majority of those people understand what an Alpha game is going to be like. Many of them will likely get frustrated at the bugs and lack of overall content and stop playing all together, branding it a "bad game" without giving it a chance to develop. As for the community, for the most part I've loved being part of it. I'm not a trash talker or a complainer, I don't tell people what to do or that they're wrong, and I don't sit on a high horse lording over others because of my foundation/guild rank - and because I don't do any of these things people tend to leave me alone. I'm just here to have a great time, jump into some role play activities, and watch an awesome gaming community grow.

RE: [Tavern Roleplay] The Arcanist's Mill
I will never understand this human obsession with stone cities Mimi thinks while sitting quietly in a dimly lit corner of the Tavern. Glim has just risen to greet Malyvern and the rest of the mercenaries are occupied getting food and drink, leaving her alone for a moment.
She starts to remove her hood, catching as usual on her antlers but decides against it, and pulls it back down. The room seems relaxed but at a closer look there are a few humans in here that don't seem to be looking kindly at the entry of so many Beast-kin at once.
Mimi sneaks some breadcrumbs to the Fendyr - who she has decided to name Ember - and continues to observe the emotions in the room, always cautious.

RE: [Tavern Roleplay] The Arcanist's Mill
((OOC - Glim already had this conversations with Mimi so he's just listening to be polite))
Mimi propped her chin in her hands, leaning into the heavy wooden table, "I was curious what life was like outside of Arboreus." sighing softly she smiled a small smile, "My father was very upset when I left. But an old Nheedra stumbled upon our family home when I was very young and used to rave about his adventures on Syndesia. I wanted to see for myself."
Taking another sip of her cider, Mimi has forgotten about being shy. It seems to have gone to her head, "My mother used to wander Syndesia herself, she is a great healer, not scared of anything. She wouldn't have frozen up on the road here when you needed help. Beast-kin still travel from all over Arboreus for her help, but father never let us see them, he wanted to keep us all at home."
Glim smiled his toothy grin into his tankard and made a motion to Spot and Dot at the bar, currently buying the group another round, to make sure they knew not to top up Mimi's drink. Malyvern smiled at Glim, missing nothing and asked, "And you came straight here from home?"
"No, I left home and traveled around Arboreus for a few years. I wanted to learn to heal like my mother and I found a few beast-kin willing to teach me." Smiling from antler to antler now, Mimi let out a small chuckle and took another sip, "Some of the other Erwydra that had been studying for years before me would look down at me, but I learnt faster than they expected!" Mimi suddenly looks solemn, "I guess I thought I was ready to leave because I thought I was a better healer than them."
Noticing Mimi's head was starting to slip from her hands, Malyvern reached out a steady hand and caught her shoulder, easing her slowly onto the table, shooing the fretting Fendyr as it jumped over Mimi's back. Rolling a spare cloak into a makeshift pillow he placed it under her head, "Well, she's out" he said with a chuckle.

RE: [Tavern Roleplay] The Arcanist's Mill
What's going on? Mimi rubs her eyes feeling much better after drinking the potion someone had left for her, Why is it so tense in here?
Hearing Malyvern she seeks out his voice and sees him at the bar with the Erwydra from the corner, she looks so calm and sure of herself Mimi thinks wistfully, watching the beast-kin lean casually against the bar, fiddling with her pipe.
Starting to wake up more she notices a smell in the stuffy air of the tavern that wasn't there before. Something cruel and unforgiving wafting over the smell of stale ale and tobacco.
One of the people at the bar turns toward Malyvern and says something, not a person, she corrects herself, a demon. Two demons. Mimi's mother told her once that demons weren't necessarily evil, but reveled in war and conflict, finding beauty in cruelty the same why we found beauty in our kindness towards others and nature. Mimi is extremely curious but not enough to approach the bar and certainly not to even consider it with the way Glim and Ixuo are reacting.
Seeing she is awake, Telwath passes her a mug of water, sprinkling some kind of pale powder in with a wink, making Mimi duck her head in embarrassment, instinctively clutching her left antler.

RE: [Tavern Roleplay] The Arcanist's Mill
Taking Rikki's hand, Mimi couldn't help but gawk awkwardly at her. Rikki's confident manner, the way she walked, talked, and even the way she openly practiced mind altering magic - right where others could see - was something so appealing to Mimi. Such self assurance. It was everything Mimi wanted to be... One day.
"Nice to meet you too."
"We should go and see what this human wants" Glim growled, passing the flask back to the demon who accepted it with a grin, "Coming along?" he asked Mimi.
Still staring at Rikki, Mimi hesitated before answering "What? Oh, yes of course." and not waiting to leave Rikki out, "Did you want to come back inside for some food?"

RE: [Tavern Roleplay] The Arcanist's Mill
Having overheard the exchange, Mimi decided to turn in early for the night. It was a long, tiring road to Avermore.
"Would you care to join us?" she asked Rikki, clutching her left antler anxiously, "I know Glim would appreciate someone like you if we happened to come across anyone unsavory on the road."
Rikki eyed Mimi with curiosity, pipe in hand, eyebrows skeptical.
"Sorry... I... I would like you to come with us." and feeling embarrassed, pulled her hood up, awkwardly catching her antlers, and made a hasty exit to the upper floor of the tavern to find a place to sleep.

RE: [Closed Roleplay] Caravan to Avermore
It was nice being outside after the last few days cooped up in the Tavern. Breathing in the morning air, crisp with frost, Mimi looked around at their new travelling companions, The Rhila Trading Company. It reminded her of a beehive, everyone had their purpose, everyone knew exactly what they had to do, and all of them centered by the caravan master, Seryn. Seryn was amazing to watch, she seemed to be aware of everything that was happening, looking over her caravan with pride and casting our party some clearly dubious glances, Glim knows what he is about, she things Seryn will see.
"Well don't you just look like you fell out of the wrong tree?"
Mimi turns toward the friendly voice, a small smile already turning up the corners of her mouth. She is greeted by a young woman leading one of the cart horses, a small owl nestled into her neck.
"I'm Imri, I look after the horses and such for Rhila."
"Mimi, I'm travelling with Glim and his mercenaries."
Imri looked Mimi up and down taking note of her simple, worn robe and her cautious manner, "I hope you don't mind me sayin', but I didn't take you for a mercenary."
"I'm learning to be a healer." Mimi said softly ducking her head.
"Well, good luck Mimi. I have to get this great lug ready." she said, slapping the horses flank in good spirits, "I look forward to getting to know you on the road."
Mimi nodded and smiled in reply, watching Imri walk away, and suddenly found herself feeling uneasy, as though she was being watched. Shaking it off, Mimi walked back to their cart to put the last of her supplies away. I guess this is it. We should be off before the day is out.

RE: [Closed Roleplay] Caravan to Avermore
"Oh, that's beautiful!" Mimi beamed at Telwath, happy to have found another beast-kin who shared her passion for helping others, "Glim certainly looks more relaxed now we're far from the tavern!"
Looking towards their wagon Mimi is happy to see Glim watching over his men, a look of stern pride in his eyes."Where are Malyvern and Rikki? Did they sleep in?" Looking around Mimi sees Malyvern near one of the trading companies wagons talking to a tall, dark haired man and looking a little worse for wear, ok, so where's Rikki?
