Yes i understand, i filled both halves of the circle like you said, but it still would not let me take the middle node without going up luck in the middle before charisma.

I think if someone takes both the nodes smart and robust for example (int and con) on the hexagon ring, they should be able to also take charming for charisma without going up from the start, and just connecting the 2 nodes in the middle. I assumed this was how it was going to be but it clearly isnt.

Please for quality of life, make this change permanent until switched off. It will make a lot of people happy after dying.
Also, unsure if you are able to loot party members with party corpse loot turned off but in guild with guild loot turned on, make it so guild loot overrides party if that is the case that you cant.
