TRADING in Fractured Online – Time for a change

  • Fractured Online is a game with immense potential, especially for players who love trading, transporting goods, and building economies. The vast game world, the ability to travel between cities, and the charm of traversing trade routes on horseback are features that attract fans of economic gameplay. However, the current limits on the number of market orders are a significant restriction and do not reflect the scale of possibilities offered by the game’s world.

    The problem with current limits
Currently, players can only place 20 orders on a standard account and 40 orders on a premium account. This limitation is not only insufficient but actively restricts a key element of gameplay: trading. Compared to other titles like Ultima Online, EVE Online, or Albion Online, where trading freedom and complex market systems are the norm, the current limits in Fractured Online feel overly restrictive.

    Why should limits be increased?
Boost Market Dynamics – Allowing more orders would create a more diverse and healthy market where players can compete instead of being forced to minimize their activities.
Support for Traders – Trading is one of the most engaging aspects of sandbox games. Expanding this feature would attract players who enjoy economic gameplay.
Realistic representation of the game world – The vast world of Fractured Online encourages travel and trade between cities. Higher order limits would fully utilize the potential of this mechanic.
Appeal to economic players – Players interested in trading make up a significant portion of the sandbox gaming community. Easing trade restrictions would enhance the game’s appeal and attract new players.

    Suggested Changes
To enable players to fully enjoy the market system, i propose:

Increasing the order limit to at least 100 for standard accounts.
Alternatively, removing the order cap entirely, allowing players to expand their trading empires freely.
Introducing new mechanics, such as pack animals like oxen, to enhance the logistics and transportation aspect of trading.

Trading is the heart of a healthy economy in sandbox games. Expanding this feature in Fractured Online would make the game more attractive and bring in players who value economic freedom. The current limit of 20–40 orders is inadequate for the scale of the game and discourages players who want to engage in serious trading.

I urge the developers to consider these changes. Improving the trading system could be a key factor that sets Fractured Online apart from competitors and builds a long-term, engaged player community. Share your thoughts and support this initiative – together, we can help Fractured Online reach its full potential!
