Can't place Fireplace or Chest on Bought Land

I am experiencing an issue of not being able to place a fireplace anywhere in my built structure (or any work-benches) or place a chest on my land.
When placing the fireplace I have tried all the places in the small cabin (2by2) and it shows the outlined but after right clicking to place the blueprint it disappears with no blueprint placed.
Smelter, charcoal pile, wood refinery are able to be placed but specific items are not.
