Unable to place market sale for coal

I have a wagon full of coal that I was trying to place for sale on the market. I can follow through the steps of setting price and quantity, but after I accept it takes me back to my inventory without posting the sale. If I try again it does the same, but after a few attempts the game starts to crash every time I attempt to post the sale.
I built a hand cart and filled that up with some of the stacks to try that way and the same happens. For the first few attempts it just returns to my inventory without posting, but after too many attempts it will crash the game as well.
