War Hammer bug

So, after using the War Hammer for a few hours today, it has a habit of causing the character to start flailing the weapon wildly, preventing me from swinging. A few times this has just randomly started happening whilst swinging as I was struck, it seemed to happen again when I was webbed by a spider, swapping the weapons didn't seem to help, as I'd still get stuck in the broken animation loop with the different weapons. It's worn off quickly, or by chance when I switched to a 1h weapon with shield.
