Porting with a wagon / heavy materials?

Not sure what is intended or what's a bug, but when using the port you cannot click the sign with a wagon, but you can click it and then attach the wagon and it'll tp you with the wagon...
You cannot click it while holding a heavy material and the menu wont let you tp if you pick one up after clicking.
Should wagons be able to tp? Should they be charged by cargo?

I think the option would be nice, but of course would be quite expensive! Good note thanks for the post!
