Stuck with wagon

If you are mounted on a horse and having a wagon attached you can get attacked. If the horse dies, you are not longer mounted but still pull the wagon by foot!
You can't get away. Trying to get off the wagon just leads to a error message that you need to be mounted. Most likey you just die then just like your horse.
