Game crashing

Whenever I click create new character it just freezes up, but the sound still plays and the button click sounds still play whenever my mouse is over it. Any help would be appreciated.
UPDATE: I was able to create a character and all but now when I select the character on click play, it just crashes and pops up the unity crash handler window with no information.
