"Aye, welcome to our table" Glim beams, waving his hand across the table.

RE: Light role play beastmen guild.
@humerus good question and good points. In game, a guild does not have a single race it can accomodate. We could have a large number of humans chilling in Syndesia. And it was my idea to migrate to Syndesia in the first place.

RE: [Tavern Roleplay] The Arcanist's Mill
Realising he hadn't eaten since his apples. Glim realises he needs a more varied mid day meal than just fruits, eyeing the food stalls he sees one packed with meats of all types. 'Dark meat, light meat. It's all the same!' He thinks to himself hungrily.
"Hallo." Glim says, approaching the stall. "Do you sell venison?"
"Aye, ah daunt sell mooch alse." The seller replies.
"Good good." Glim says as he reaches into his gambeson to retrieve his coin pouch.Glim and the merchant haggle for a bit before settling on the price that appeals to both the consumer and provider.
"Many thanks!" Glim says, turning away from the stall to eat his meat red and raw.

RE: [Tavern Roleplay] The Arcanist's Mill
"I will not step down till I've said my piece. If you follow this path, who will lead you? Him" Him says, pointing with his thumb at the man. "Do not go through with this, you will only find yourself awash in misery."
It is then that Glim steps down from the podium, not waiting to listen to how is words affected the crowd. He goes to follow Ixuo. -
RE: [Tavern Roleplay] The Arcanist's Mill
"It seems that drink can wait." Glim says, scratching his chin in consideration. He looks to Ixuo who nods in agreement. The men had just finished a job, and knowing them they would have cold feet soon enough.
"I'm glad you think we're the company for you. I'll run it by the men. I'll start off by offering a 1,150 gold hire price. You're paying for me and my men, not some wet nosed bunch straight off their mothers teat. Think it over, I'll be inside with my crew. We've got time to spare, don't rush it." Glim says, sauntering towards the tavern doors, pushing them open and walking straight towards Phargought.
"Got a new job offer, get you gear in order. It's a few days in the making. But be ready to leave."
"Aye aye, captain." Pargought responds, thumping his closed fist into his chest in salute.
Glim heads back outside, removing his breastplate and locking it securely in his safe box chained to his wagon.

RE: [Tavern Roleplay] The Arcanist's Mill
Glim sits back straight in his seat when the demon enters, an obvious look of fear and anger crossing his face. He stands up with a start, his chair flying backwards across the room. He shakes his head, spittle flying from his jowls. He releases a deep, rumbling from the back of his throat. He steps towards the demon slowly. It has his back to him. This should be over quickly.
But Malyvern is already there. Buying it a drink. Glim stands up straight. Relaxing ever so slightly. Looking around the room he can see that all his men had done the same thing without instruction.
Surrounding it. He looks at the floor, then back up to his men. Doubt crossing his face. He shakes his head as if to say. ‘If Malyvern trusts it.. him. Then I’m not going to kill him now. We’ll wait for a reason.’ Though ixuo doesn’t look yo sure. Glimheim narrows his eyes at his Chadra friend. ‘keep an eye on him.’
Glim retreats slowly back to his seat. Sitting down with a huff. Leaving his cider un-drunk.

RE: [Tavern Roleplay] The Arcanist's Mill
He looks at the Udoadra... his new friend... in silent thanks, nodding silently.
"They will not have mercy. Any violence or threats of it, and I'll have their skulls in my paws.." He holds out his hand in front of him, closing it down on a make believe head.
"Thank you, Telwath." He says. -
RE: [Tavern Roleplay] The Arcanist's Mill
'I'm surprised the liquid in the flask wasn't the blood of a newborn baby... So maybe there are some good demons, like the stories I've heard.' Glim thinks to himself, entering the tavern once more. Scanning for the merchant from earlier, he struts over and collapses into his chair.
"I was told you wanted to speak to me." Glim says, not so kindly. -
RE: [Closed Roleplay] Caravan to Avermore
Glim ignores Ora's worrying question to Ruve. 'I like this one.' He thinks to himself. 'You don't live this long in this trade without being wary.'
Glim looks up the column at Ixuo and shakes his head smiling. He makes his way over to the Chadra, strolling in his long, slow, prideful gait.
"Ixuo, our wagon is part of the crew aye. But, we need to have it at the back, or it'll slow us down. And the longer we're on this road the more chance she'll break down." The Nheedra says sympathetically. To be totally honest it hurts Glimheim to say it.

RE: [Closed Roleplay] Caravan to Avermore
Taking Seryn's hand in a greeting embrace he begins to explain his plan.
"It's a pleasure, Seryn. My names Glimheim, though you can call me Glim.
After looking at the sheer size of the area we'll have to protect, I've decided that we cannot have stationary sentries, we'll need to keep them rotating the whole time. Although I myself will be up the front with Ixuo here the whole time, and my lieutenant, Phargought will be at the back the whole time.
My men are armed with close quarter weapons, with the exception of the twins and their javelins so if we feel the need is necessary I'm sure you could spare some hunting bows for the sake of protection, granted we'll need some practice."Glim pauses for a moment to catch a breath and think over his plan some more
"Phargought will have a horn, as will Ixuo, for the sake of signalling either end of the column if need be. If you have any suggestions I would respect your opinion."

RE: [Closed Roleplay] Caravan to Avermore
Glim stiffens at the sound of the explosions, before seeing the varied colours painting the sky. 'Night dyes' He thinks gleefully to himself.

RE: Cross-gender playing
I always play as my gender. But I know a lot of males select female avatars.
