  Hi everyone, our aim with the following rules is to make this forum a friendly and enjoyable place for the whole Fractured community. A place where you can learn more about the game, discuss it and find new friends, while we can gather your feedback. Please help us make it so by abiding to them! 1) BE CIVIL Treat each other with respect. Don't insult other users, troll them, or bait them into breaking the rules. Also, keep criticism constructive. For more information about the rules regarding Acceptable Content, I suggest you read paragraph 5 of our Terms of Service. Here's a summary of the most important rules: Do not harass other users. For example: Insulting others, flaming, etc. Do not troll other users. Do not threaten other people, unless it's within the context of the game. Do not invade other people's privacy and do not* doxx other users. (posting other people's real life information). Do not post hate speech (discriminatory, racist, etc). Do not impersonate staff or other users. In addition to that, certain content is forbidden from being posted. This includes (but is not limited to): Sexually explicit content. Illegal content. Malicious content like viruses. Hacks, cheats and exploits. Copyrighted content. Unsolicited or unauthorized advertising. For a full list of prohibited content and behaviour, I once again refer you to the Terms of Service. 2) DON'T SPAM All comments should stay on topic and all threads should be relevant to the section they're posted in. Also, keep in mind that the off-topic section is for discussions unrelated to Fractured, not for spam. If you want to gain Foundation Points from the Daily Post quest but don't have anything interesting to say, you can however leave a "spammy" post in this thread. 3) FORBIDDEN SUBJECTS In addition to the rules above, we have also decided to forbid the following subjects from being discussed: Politics Religion I am sure you can understand why we have forbidden these two subjects. These subjects often lead to fights and drama, and have little to do with what this forum is about. Because of this, we believe the best course of action is to simply disallow users from discussing them. These rules only apply to real life politics and religion, discussions about in-game politics and religion are obviously fine. 4) MODERATORS Moderators and Dynamight Studios staff reserve the right to remove, edit, lock, move, or otherwise adjust content posted by the users of this forum at any time. If you disagree with an action taken by a moderator, send him/her a PM or send one to a member of the Dynamight Studios staff instead of making a post about it. Breaking the above rules can result in a warning or the temporary/permanent suspension of your account, depending on the severity of the offense and the existence of prior warnings.

  I can't help but post, the number of people online is declining, and an update is needed to enhance the build so that the solo can complete the legendary, instead of going online every day and doing nothing

  Currently getting orbs is far to rare for your effective skill to be from orbs OR gear. I truly dont think the orb grind would feel as painful if I knew spending 150k on 3 orbs would free up one slot on my gear. Effectively now buying orbs is almost pointless until you are at full 10. Give players the ability to feel a tiny boost / increase to their chars every single level of orbs they are able to apply to their character, by allowing Gear stats + orbs to stack up to the max of +10. Such a bad feeling sitting at +2 from orbs .. not getting any while farming .. and not wanting to buy them because you literally get nothing until you max the school and can flip it off your gear. Such a small change but gives small progression as you search instead of feeling its an ignorant amt of time involvement with no gain grind

  On applications like Android and iOS, there are many games for you to choose from. But to suit each age group, the choices are different. Personally, I have experienced racing games and it is truly a wonderful thing

I'm hoping that the bigger patch coming next week will take advantage of multiple build and ability buffs, roll back damage to the amount of damage it had before the Endgame Changer Update, and increase the drop rate of Hallowed Rewards. By the way, Why Master Traznagor and Rutok the Wise no longer drop Legendary Divine Rewards

  Hmm... Now my opinion may be bit mixed but well. On one hand I quite expected some of those concerns on the other side, completely changing "developers view" doesn't seem like good solution either. So I'm kinda against making Fractured yet another MMo. So maybe instead on going on FULL BACK on some points... All that is needed is some smaller tweaks or changes? For example: It is quite hard to agree with it. Prices of standard gear on market are rather low. Even if You hunt only low level enemies or chests it really isn't much of a problem there. And actually is a thing to make economy more lively. For if it was so easy to craft all the gear... Who would even buy it? I get thou the difference in effort to between crafting decent gear and best ones (for example hardwood and ironwood Longbow lets say +4) is actually really big difference in effort while change in stats doesn't seems to be quite impressive. But there comes small problem with scaling. If change was much bigger PvP once again would back to 5 sec duels of "Who attacked first". About paying in gold for items You crafted in house. I understand it was an attempt to stabilize prices a bit, but... Well I would rather see NPC to who You can sell items at fixed prices than this. Or any other more organic one, than paying gold to use Your own workshop. This looks even worse in armors I think, where there are only two options really: Basic armor for You and expensive one with actual bonuses. But instead of changing maybe adding more steps in between would be better? I get that it may create situation when You feel like You can do nothing simply because You don't have good enough gear but hey... One it is the point of putting much work into getting the best gear, second it still can be tweaked by reducing/increasing its durability. Understandable. But making this system work like it works in any other game is really the point? Maybe instead there should be more options of getting heavy materials You need? Of course if there were more players most likely it would naturally happen that some would offer heavy materials delivery, but for now maybe it would be good to add some other system that provides even limited/expensive options instead of reworking whole system? Rest? Yeah... if there was simply more things to do solo, while other parts of game still forced You to find even a temporal group it would be better for all. Cannot disagree. For this I feel game just need more overall content in all the phases (maybe outside of very beginning, there seems to be enough). But here were back to what seems like the one of biggest obstacles so far. How to do that quick with limited resources?

  I started up a new bowman and the first 5-6 camps I ran into (both POI and not POI) were all ghosts. In contrast, I've seen no ghosts in the highest level areas when I've been running around on my higher level characters. The weapons needed to damage ghosts are not newbie weapons. Ghosts spawns and POI should not be showing up until somewhere around medium level difficulty areas or whenever you think it's reasonable for players to have obtained those weapons. Right now, I don't think they are a positive factor in the newbie experience.

  @MichaelZhang at present for me it is not only playing solo - it is playing lonely! After two weeks of playing a met a total of three other players. One sleeping at the chimney, one passing by and one running away. Moreon i found no way to interact with them. No mouseover menu, no right click menu, no click options on their names. I have no clue how it is possible to invite them to anything. Same in chat: No clue how to whisper or invite. Poor. And my motivstion is pretty low to invest time in the future, because i know that all my efforts to build a lovely house are gone when I go for vacation. Yes, i can pay in advance, but then i have to play for the rent of my base. lol. is this my job or a game?? There is so much to do to attract casual players for more than a month or even less. But that is why i think we will ever be early access, because a little group of hardcore fans will be here constantly to keep at leat that status.

  Make Durability Matter Again Ok, joking aside, there is a huge grind in this game to be a great across-the-board crafter. And there is little benefit. There is some, and it matters, but the community seems to feel like item quality just isn't important, not important enough to justify worrying about. An Orange item needs to be much better than a White. My preferred way to address this is to limit the enchantability: White: not enchantable Green: +1 max Blue: +2 max Purple: +3 max Orange: +4 max I'd also like to see some level of durability increase return, without losing the current performance bonuses. There should be a reason dedicated crafters are important.

  My knight+longsword+shield build has no problem soloing. We should expect some people to see it as a step backward, and some to see it as a step forward, because that is how a balancing patch should feel. If you were OP before, you see a decrease in power, and if you were UP before, you see an increase in power. If there are entire segments of builds (i.e.: mage) that are not viable as solo, that should be fixed. But "most people's build got weaker" is exactly what should be expected, because most people choose the OP builds.

  Well, if devs want more players , game(in my opinion) need: -sort of free trial version -more character customisation / wardrobe system -some limited fast travel system -maybe "ïnsured" items as reward for certain achievements -different type of live -simulated NPC(sorry if we could call game more or less dynamic, but world looks like post-apocaliptyc) -well-designed tutorial system(mb sort of personal assistant - fae, magic parot or goblin etc.)

  If we talk about monk type character(not brawler), INT(WIS) stat should affect damage(and affect deffencive capabilities as AGI), INT/WIS could help to "channel" energy throw body and weapon. Matrial arts school could also affect simple weapon like qarterstaff and sickle and maybe some exotic like kama.

  Every now and then, I saw people mention other players attempting to steal the chests from them while they were in the middle of clearing a camp—most successfully doing so, and I recently became a victim of this act. Unless you're on Syndesia, your only option to deter someone from stealing the chest you're spending your effort, time, and resources to obtain is to break one of Fractured's rules by luring NPCs onto the thief. This shouldn't have to be done to prevent that from happening. While I don't want to completely eliminate the possibility of other players being able to steal chests from each other, even though they should be courteous enough to leave that player be and find their own camp, there should be healthier ways to do achieve this like how players can just attack and kill each other on Syndesia. For example, there could be a contest that starts as soon as a camp-spawned NPC is attacked: (Alternatively, to starting as soon as a single player attacks a camp-spawned NPC, it could simply register the player then officially start the contest when another player comes along and attacks a camp-spawned NPC.) This could give another player a fair chance to contest the camp's chest instead of trying to challenge a player that's already one or more kills into clearing the camp; although, this could be unfair to the first player. The player that kills the most camp-spawned NPCs earns the right to unlock and pillage a chest. The kill counts should be based on damage dealt to prevent a contestant from last-hitting another contestant's target for the purpose of stealing their kill count. If the contest ends in a draw... ...another NPC could be spawned by the camp to break the tie. Damage dealt would matter most here. ...every player that formed a tie with each other could gain access to the chest—first click; first served. ...if possible, the chest could split its rewards and itself into smaller chests for each contestant that formed the tie. Players in a party are considered as a single contestant. This means that their damage dealt (when securing a kill) and their kill counts could be counted as their party leader's damage dealt (when securing a kill) and kill counts. This could be elaborated upon if we're able to name our parties in Fractured's future. There could be boundaries (radii) around camps that mark the playing area for the contests. If a contestant strays beyond the boundary, they could be warned that they must return lest they risk disqualification. The boundaries could be generously extended for the sake of giving contestants room to kite and not accidentally aggro more than they can handle. The statistics for this contest could appear above the chests, or somewhere on the contestants' U.I., that remains until the contest is over or until the contestants leave the playing areas' boundaries. This mechanic should not affect those who utilize stealth to unlock and pillage camps' chests unless they or someone else attacks a camp-spawned NPC. This mechanic would be completely optional for Syndesia since, as explained earlier, players on that planet can simply attack and kill each other for the camps and their rewards; however, this mechanic would provide a more sporting way to challenge someone for a camp without devolving to violence against each other. Another alternative to this entire suggestion is to simply create impassable boundries around camps' chests, of the same themes as the camps, that falls away when those camps are cleared. However, this could still cause a problem with thieves idling or hiding nearby with the intention of waiting until the player clears the camp to dart in and steal its chest.

  Aggro is first effected by who hits the target first. When in tank role I often carry a bow just to get that first hit in when my party forgets this fact. If no-one hits the target then the player who crosses into the mobs detection first gets targeted. Whenever a mob gets stunned (and maybe also if rooted) from ability or shock stack effect the aggro seems to get cleared and will be placed on the first attack or closest target as above. There also seems to be a time or damage factor which if the current targeted player does not do damage or is not hit by the mob then the aggro will reset to the closest or one who does damage to the mob. taking all this into consideration, if you use a stun or root after attacking the target you should be able to avoid keeping aggro if the tank attacks first or is closer after the effect is done. Take all this with a grain of salt, this is just my experiences and what works for me.
