@webaber They've already said #3 won't happen.
They do not want to make fast travel more accessible in Fractured, they want to keep it extremely, if not totally limited. They added the Ports (with fees) being sure to make it so the ports are more for moving characters, not goods around. They do not want any kind of Waypoint system on the Fractured world maps as they want to encourage people to hoof it for travel, and make distances really mean something in game.
